Just download this and open it up in XBMC. It includes, all of the games today, so you can stream in HD. They disabled Airplay, so I refuse to watch it otherwise.

While it isn't perfect, it is definitely better than having to use the flash player (especially for the Turner networks since they have disabled full-screen for whatever reason). Thanks tdhz77!

Is there a way to generate .strm files for the rest of today's games?

Mizzou lost, so I had to take a break from uploading the strm files.

I'll upload the rest of the games for Sunday. I'll let you know when it's up.

Sunday's first few games..

Some of the XML's are not showing up. I'm not sure why, so I have to add them as they get closer to game time.

Thank you, I'm hoping my efforts will payoff next year. Perhaps, it will work every year if the file names are the same. Low probability, but worth it.

I can't get the last few games to work?

Can somebody else confirm?

I made this HTML file that gives quick access to game XML's.

This is working for me, it's the 600 kbps version of UC vs. FSU
rtmp://mmlivefs.fplive.net/mmlive-live/ live=1 playlist=1 playpath=mml_311_600@60867

Indeed none of the other bitrates work. I wonder why?
I'm getting HD on my ipad. Chances that we have been black listed?

What a game between CINCY and FSU!

I'll upload all bitrates in folders for the sweet 16/Elite 8. I'm on Spring Break, so I have nothing to do... lol

UPDATE* Did you notice that the file never ended, and that the playlist was a continuous stream? hmm...

I did notice that it played without the stream ending. My observation was that I could get all bitrate streams from Akamai (cp153220.live.edgefcs.net), but they all would stop after about 90 seconds. I only got the 600 kbps stream from Level3 (mmlivefs.fplive.net), and it played fine the whole game.

I was able to get the Purdue-Kansas game streaming--what a heart-breaker--by finding the game ID via the ncaa.com site, then using your URL to find the different streaming links. The one thing I noticed was that every minute or so the stream ends and XBMC goes to the next link ("Working..." mesage). This results in a 10-15 second gap in playback which is a big deal for sports. Did anyone find a solution for this?

It looks like you can simply swap out 600 for 900, 1350, 1600, or 1850 (I think those are the numbers) to change quality.

Thank you for all the work you've done on this, tdhz77.

EDIT: Looking at the most recent post, I can add that I used cp153220.live.edgefcs.net to get all of the bitrates. On the individual game's XML page, I think it specifies which bitrates are available from which providers.

The http headers need to be replicated, so that the ad cues don't mess with the stream.

We need to look at the action script, but I haven't had time to see it during live video.

To clarify about bit rates, the 1850 had been working until the cincy fsu game. ( cp153220.live.edgefcs.net) The 600 stream didn't suffer from working break like previous streams ( mmlivefs.fplive.net )The answer was in this game I feel.

I suppose next round of games I will test all of the servers and see if we can find the best solution.

New Version up. Some games are not there because the XML's are not up for those games. Enjoy.
Some errors exist. The correct server for HD should be cp120540.live.edgefcs.net/live/ and playlist=1 (not 0) -

Looks like 600kbps is what we are working with. Better than nothing I guess.

*Good news no more buffering problems, as they seemed to be fixed. So perhaps for next year we should think about writing an video add-on that pulls in the scoreboard/bracket and live scoring from the XML's Smile

Took me a while to figure this out.

http://data.ncaa.com/mml/2013/xml/video/...n_live.xml

This year it doesn't look like its working for MM 2013 as the playin games I can't get to work with XBMC. Sad

Anybody have an idea?

Thanks for the links. I used this method in 2011 successfully, but in 2012 the streams only played for about 30 seconds at a time before dropping out. I assume there was some kind of proprietary handshake between the client and the server. I didn't even try this year, just used Airplay to watch. Quality wasn't fantastic, but the headache factor was much improved over fussing with the .strm file every 30 seconds Smile
