Hi guys,
I am a Linux uber-noob. I was going to run the Windows based version of XBMC, but like the idea of running it all off a USB stick on my PC. Reason being, I have a medium spec'd PC, sitting in my lounge, and for some reason, the HDD runs very hot... generating a load of heat in the box, causing my fan to be running high speed a lot. My plan was to install Live onto a USB stick, and hey presto.. no need for the hot HDD.
However, my issue now is, how will I get my remote to work? I don't know how to install drivers for it.
I got a HP Hewlett Packard MCE remote Control
Will that work when I connect it, or will I need to do some crazy work to get it working?
OR... can I get a Bluetooth dongle, and use my PS3 bluetooth remote? Which of these options would be possible, and easier for me? Remember, I know nothing about Linux...
