#1
Hi all,

I am running one system on live 9.11. I want to upgrade to live 10.1 I tried to find the correct answer... but i'm not sure. Is the correct command

‘apt-get update && apt-get install xbmc’

Thanks in advance

Follow this. That wil update the Ubuntu release to Maverick.

Then follow this. That will update XBMC to latest stable.

In the middle of the two, please follow the links in my sig and update Nvidia drivers and ALSA if you want to. It's not mandatory, do.

Hi h.udo

looked over your instructions, and have a quick question.

These instructions

OK, after the release has been updated, see if you have a file referencing the XBMC PPA under /etc/apt/sources.list.d/

If you do, erase it. Now issue the following commands:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:team-xbmc
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xbmc-live xinit x11-xserver-utils

That should take care of it.

will These instructions work if I have Intel graphics?

EDIT: And does this keep my customized settings for the likes of keyboard.xml etc...

Thanks, Rob
