With Library vs Files merge in progress I thought it might be interesting if all video content would be treated similar to TV Show, thus allowing for 2 addition layers that could be used as Custom categories E.g.
TVShow == Video sources (USB, NAS, MyServer3..)
-> Season == Custom categories
-- >Episodes == Movie titles
applicable to non library videos, too.
No need for ext. manager if we use folder names for categories (like season1..). Ability to flatten (always, never, only if 1 season) is there for those that would prefer it. We have fanart and thumbs support on all layers with TVShows.
