For the time being, like Andre says, there's no platform to test on although my ATV2 shipped yesterday so I'll have a vested interest in looking into replacing librtmp-2.3 with librtmp-awesome on ATV2 soon myself;

I just thought that since no one had made an iOS version of the library, that it was completely out of reach. Nice to know that someone has the tools to recompile and get it working! (if it's that easy....)

Unless I am mistaken, the xbmc-atv2 you're running now is using a built version of librtmp-2.3 as per (2) below.
You obviously can't build it on the ATV2 using bolverk's instructions, but once it's built... the shared lib could just be dropped into a Dharma-10.1 ?

Actually, Davilla (iOS XBMC programmer) mentioned no more nightlies, no 10.1; he's shooting straight for 11.0 for ATV2. So this will take a while.

That is correct, and since ATV2 has been folded into trunk I wouldn't expect him to either. I suspect the 10.07 ATV2 branch off 10.0 will slowly die off?

I know this pushes testing this plugin onto an unstable nightly, which has its own issues and doesn't really solve the problem for most people who prefer to stay on a stable release.

I tried this plugin out a while ago and couldn't get it to work, always got some kind of error when I tried running it. Obviously though it works for most people so I'm going to give it another shot.
Question: Are you able to include any Aux.tv content? I'd love to be able to watch some of those shows through xmbc

wow, cool site, I didn't know it existed. my first attempt failed, rtmpsuck can't even capture the stream, so there's a good chance we won't be able to get it any time soon.
