Sorry am new to this...

I have an atv2 (w/ 4.1.1) which i employed greenp0ison to jailbreak
I used Nitro 0.6.6 which was installed with greenp0ison
Then i installed xbmc 10.0.7

My problem is that when i play videos, they crash about 3-5 mins in
The atv2 then goes back to the main menu

any ideas

I can see at least 8 threads regarding XBMC crashing after a few minutes, and even a sticky relating to the issue. Either way I will help out, but at least look at a forum before posting in the future!

The problem is that ATV is trying to update itself to the newest version. Go back into Nito and find updatebegone and install. Don't update to the newest ATV software as XBMC isn't 100% compatible yet.

First thing is have you prevented the update notifications from appearing? If not, check the stickied topic for info on how to do that.
