Keith, what is the difference between xbmc.log and xbmc.log.old? The timestamps are within minutes of each other.

did you remember to enable debugging under System Settings for the xbmc.log to be useful?
and dunno the diff, but I never use the .old one.

Of course. I turned it debugging on, then I played the file. Next I turned off debugging, sFTP to receive the xbmc.log, not the old file.

No need to get snappy... Keith asked because your log contains no debug information... which logically would lead one to assume you have not enabled debugging.

xbmc.log.old is the log from the previous session.
