Decided to make the jump to xmbc for my HTPC needs currently am using Ubuntu 10.10 on the main rig where I do my streaming from and am going to set up XMBC on that.

Any advice you can get me to get XMBC purring on linux would be awesome

I have been playing around with xmbc for a few mins on my windows 7 laptop and love everything.
