I am getting the following corrupted screen when entering command line (Ctrl+alt+F2).



I did find this thread here: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=70889 but unfortunately I was in the process of changing my network settings so can now no longer event ssh into the box to change anything.

Any suggestions on what to do? I can get to grub command, is there a way to get from there to the command prompt so I can fix the vga issue?

Just to give some more detail:

1. I cannot get to the prompt because of corrupted screen.
2. I cannot ssh into box becuase my network settings aren't working.
3. I can get to grub but no idea where to go from there (recovery just takes me to xbmc).
4. I tried booting off a usb stick that had ubuntu installed, so can get to the prompt but cannot mount any of my HDs. Sorry, not a ubuntu experrt by any means.

So basically I'm SOL. I really don't want to do a fresh install, I have a bunch of customized scripts, add-ons etc. that will take forever to re-create.

Can anyone help?
