Can we start developing with external pyhton if we compile from git?
Alt. would it be the same if we compile dharma with external python? I.e. from add-on dev of add-ons for Eden point of view.

Does binary add-ons have any impact on this or is external python the way to go for dbus integration etc?

yes compiling with external python would give you the same as what eden will get. just some issues on windows that has to be resolved, then we'll ditch the old.

binary add-ons does not have a direct role to play. they will however play a role if you need python libraries with binary components.

All the ideas I get seem to need external python or very ugly workarounds, would probably be more fun to skip it a go for Eden (which in a biblical way makes sense)
