Hi

I'm in the process of upgrading to a full size HTPC (the Revo is going upstairs)

I have the following in an old PC

AMD Athlon BE-2300
1Gb PC5300 DDR2 Ram
320gb Seagate HDD
ASRock ALiveSATA2-GLAN Motherboard
XFX Geforce 7900GT

I know the PC is upto the task as it used to be my test rig but i'm looking for a card thats Silent and capable of outputting via HDMI to my Onkyo TXSR309 Reciever. Was looking at the Radeon 5450 but am unsure weather this would work with my motherboard (It doesn't support PCI-E 2.0)

Any Ideas would be Awesome!!!

i believe a PCIe2.0X16 card will work on a PCIex16 slot...
As i see it, it'll have less Bandwidth to work with (3.2GBps instead of 6.4GBps)...
Thus, not working in its full potential...

Yes thats what i was unsure about i had a XFX 8800GS and XFX kindly told me it was locked to PCI-E 2.0 due to power and bandwidth restrictions
