my xbmc is acting funny. when starting or ending a video, the screen goes totally black and resolution info comes up on the screen, before starting/stopping video. it also has begun to crash unexpectedly. my laptop is hooked up to a sony 32 inch flatscreen, and I'm running ubuntu 10.10. I installed the metapackage from the repo.

I do have a crashlog, but nowhere near the skillz o decipher it, and it is too long to post here.
please help...
