When I stream 720p AVI files from my NAS they stutter alot and are not watchable. If I stream an mkv file 720p or even 1080p it streams without problems...any ideas what can cause this?
Using the latest nightly build and have truied both smb and ftp streaming with the same problem...

Hardware decoding is for h264 only. As a result, 720p XviD, WMV and other HD encodings stutter. Standard definition should work fine.

Thanks for your reply! Will this ever be fixed in upcoming releases or is it impossible to fix due to hardware limitations?

I believe they are working on that. So it may or may not happen =P Hardware decoding on ATV2 still has its secrets...
