Hi guys/ girls,

I An issue, xvid quality is quite poor compared to my dvd player that upscales.


How much of a difference would a dedicated card (Hd5450) compared to x1250 integrated card be?

I have seen around that configuring and using FFDshow can help greatly.

I found a guide on here but i am a newb and need a bit more instruction.

System spec

Asus m2a-vm
amd x2 4400
4gb ram
win 7
ati 5450 in the post on its way

XBMC is set to auto boot after windows logs in.

Can someone please help me?
