Hello there. My name is Chris and this is my first time posting on these forums.

I've got a bit of a problem: my XBMC isn't updating certain parts of my TV show library. Everything is properly tagged and in the right folders, XBMC recognizes the program but there are no episodes in the folders. I tag everything in my library the same way (example: 1. (episode name)) and it never had a problem with most shows. But the newer stuff I download it only recognizes the show but not the episodes. Can someone help me with this?

usual naming conventions for TV are things like

<name> s01e01 <optional - episode name>
<name> 1x01 <optional - episode name>

and so on.

Have a look in the wiki for the naming conventions that XBMC supports out of the box.

I think if you are naming your episodes

1. <episode name>

then it will not scrape as it can't work out what the name of the series is nor what season the episode is from.
