I get alot of files that someone end up in the AAC format for audio. I am curious how i would convert this so my receiver sees the 5.1 channels and decodes them. I dont think my receiver understands AAc as all i get when trying to play one is one of the surround formats like studio mix or pro logic or whatever where its not really 5.1 its just taking 2 channels and making it that.

I am using a Mac so software for mac would be needed.
