I have a weird problem with xbmc which can't see files in directories on SMB shares as well as on local drive. I know about the problem with Avast! and already updated it. I tried latest version too, but problem still stays the same. I even captured packets on the network and you can see that response coming back from the server contains list of the files. Windows explorer can browse and see all directories and files on the server with no problem, so this is not a problem with permissions.
