Hello i have just bought a Asrock Vision 3D 137D to my parents to work as a HTPC, i plugged in the usb, an installed to hard-disk, but when it starts it goes strait to the login screen (Console) and blinks a couple of times, and then freezes. It have been a LONG time since i used Linux last, so i figure out what is going on and how to fix it, but it seems that xbmc is trying to start but fails, and then try's again until in freezes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I think someone else was struggling with the same machine and finally solved it.
Dont remember how...possibly by trying the xbmcfreakLive

The problem is probably that you need to install the correct nvidia driver.

My asrock 3d vision work with VGA but not with HDMI video out.
I have the same problem with my ASROCK 3D VISION :
- If I install the last Ubuntu version, I can't have the remote controler working (Driver needs a 10.04 or a 10.10 Ubuntu release)
- If I install a XBMC live cd (ION support), I can't have the graphic card working (Nvidia driver has to be updated) .

I'm looking for a solution and I'm still searching ...
