Hello,

I am not in front of my htpc currently, so I would like to ask a question in the hopes that it could be answered before I try experimenting.

I understand multiple genres can be used in XBMC on mp3 files by using the "/" with a space on either side.
Is it possible, like in the video categories, to make up a custom genre and have XBMC recognize and use it?

I assume so. The genre tag in my music library is filled up with a million and one completely weird arse things, mis-spellings etc so it wouldn't appear that there is any predefined list of genres and XBMC uses whatever it find in the genre tag.
