Hi all,

Is it possible to configure a TeViiS660 with a new install of XBMC to watch live TV? I know it is possible with TV headed etc. as backend, but is it possible without a backend so with only the xbmc install?

Short answer: NO
you need backend vdr, tvheadend, mythtv or mediaportal.
You also need use xbmc-pvr because pvr is not yet merged.

To be precise, just to watch TV channels without PVR function, you can also use main xbmc if for example are you using tvheadend and then via Video > add source > HTS source > tvheadend server address you can browse and watch your tv channels (channels order & tag just like were configured in tvheadend).
