Hi to all...I just installed XBMC, and I am absolutely delighted! But...

I am using XBMC on Duron 1200 MHz, with 384mb of SD ram...Everything works fine except low-bitrate 720p mp4 files (1.5gb 720p rips)...On moving scenes it jitters, but it works fine on still scenes, so i suppose latest coreAVC would be just enough for it to work slightly better...

How can I set XBMC to use external coreAVC instead of internal codec for those mp4 rips?

(i have searched and searched forum, but i could not find easy answer...)
You cant xbmc is not a directshow player your have to launch an external player or use the DSPlayer branch which works but is no longer developed

You could also try adding different values for skiploopfilter in Advancedsettings.xml

The higher the value the easier it is on the CPU but your lose quality the higher you go

Thank you! I dont mind about quality...I have tried latest coreavc on mpc, it is slightly better, but there is huge video delay. I`ll try with this Smile
