hi i have an nvidia graphics card but when i enable dxva on mkv files it only plays the movie in the top left hand quadrant

is this an nvidia issue? if so does hte dxva work withoutissue on other cards like radeons etc?

im using dharma 10
system is
Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2H Motherboard LGA775
Intel Pentium Dual Core E6300 (2.80GHz), LGA775, 1066FSB, 2MB L2 Cache,
2048MB (2 x 1024MB) PC2-6400 800Mhz DDR2 RAM
Panasonic S series 50 inch plasma

can anyone recom a card for around $150 that will work well?

I use a fairly cheap geforce 8400GS with 512Mb ram on a dual core celeron E1400. Slightly clocked up to 2,4gHz and works nicely.

I've used a 9400GT and a GT210 and both work fine. It's probably down to the version of the driver. On this PC my driver version is 8.17.12.6658. I think the file I downloaded was 266.58_desktop_win7_winvista_64bit_international_whql.exe.

I've updated several drivers through time and even used stock that came with win7 and never noticed any improvement or issues.
