Hi everybody

Since a couple of days I updated the bios of my Linux receiver. I am running ubuntu 8.04 on it. Since the bios update I am facing problems with playing any file from my nas via upnp. Local files do work.

on a related note, Anything below lucid is gonna get officially nuked and unsupported officially.... on future xbmc releases post Dharma 10.1

From what I can see in the debug log it looks like you're losing the connection to your remote share. As X3lectic said, maybe try using SMB instead. Also, check in your bios to see if any settings related to networking have changed. Don't know why they would, but stranger things have happened.

since your bios was installed on a old linux ubuntu distro its likely that something broke, either way more advantages in streaming via smb or nfs then upnp...
