ok i'm new, got a few questions i hoped the community could help with. I use MetaVideoEditor for gathering info on my movies, I use to use something called YAMM, a long time ago.

1. what is dvdid.xml ?

1a. does the dvdid file need to be the same name as the movie f.e.
Robin Hood (2010).dvdid.xml for it too work properly? or can it have any name.

2. what is a *.tbn file? and what purpose does it serve?

3. I sometimes have three xml files in one folder, usually mve.dvdid.xml, mymovies.xml, and the Robin Hood (2010).dvdid.xml (the last one i took upon myself to rename to the title of the movie, It use to be titled something else, but i don't remember what) are all three necessary? if not, which ones can i get rid of?

I'm on a windows 7 64 OS PC. and installing XBMC as I write this.

Thank you in advance for replying.
biggzmovies
1) Not used by XBMC, dvdid.xml is used by Windows Media Center to identify DVDs
2) It's just a .jpg files with a changed file extension. If you for example have a movie.tbn file in your movie folder, xbmc will use this as the cover art.
3) None of those files are relevant to XBMC. Mymovies.xml is used by the MyMovies addon for Windows Media Center.
