Looking for some direction on this as there are tones of conflicting posts on this.
installed 10.10 and xbmc - everything works well.
i have NOT installed LIRC or lirc modules but my remote is working out of the box BUT with only the directional buttons and power working.
question i have is how do i get my remote mapped to xbmc from here.
do i just need to alter remote.xml ?
my remote is a harmony one and my receiver is a philips/hp mce one.
