As the thread title suggests I'm having serious issues with XBMC on my Apple TV2.

A few times a day whenever I'm browsing TV shows, XBMC will just randomly crash back to the Apple TV menu.

I'm using homeplug adapters throughout the house - not sure if this is relavent but it almost appears like XBMC is trying to stream in the TV show covers - are they streamed or saved on the device itself? - and it's something that happens during this streaming process that causes the crash.

I have Apple Updates disabled on the Nitro dash.

Does the fact I'm also using homeplugs explain the slight sluggishness I have browsing menus or is that just a limitation of XBMC on Apple TV2?
A debug log will show you the reason for the crash.
better give us a syslog and crashlog ... see my signature for instructions on how to get it ... and a debug log of course for knowing your version of xbmc
OK, as requested, log/debug files below:

LatestCrash.plist - this is the most recent of these files - there are loads of them - http://pastebin.com/rtSFWjL2

Xbmc.log - http://pastebin.com/dtPnQ6sd

Syslog - Too large to copy to pastebin so I've uploaded it here.

This crash only seems to happen when navigating TV Shows. Movies seems OK.
Thx for the logs. So you are using ios 4.2.1 and the latest official version of XBMC. It crashes because memory gets low. Don't know why exactly. But you should have a look here:

http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=91581

and double check that you've done this:

Quote:Library scanning / scraping can cause xbmc to crash and/or the scraper itself to crash. Turn off 'Generate Thumbnails'; go into Settings > Video > File and deselect 'extract thumbnails and video information'. (thanks keith)
Checked that that setting is disabled but it's still crashing.

If anyone has any more suggestions based on my logs I'd be ever so grateful.
Not sure if anyone is investigating this any further for me but I've figured out that the crashes only seem to happen when using Panel Tall view option. They've also started happening for Movies too and not just TV Shows.
