When I try to fast forward or rewind it DOES function but the video is all jagged/pixelated as if the video file were corrupt...

It sort of makes it impossible to rewind/fastforward because I have no idea what point I am at...

Any ideas why this might be happening?

All videos or just some videos? If the latter, does it depend on the video format/encoding? Can you pop a debug log on pastebin.com.
