My provider streams IPTV on port 200. I can easily watch those streams in Windows.
When in Linux I can watch it using authbind command, which allows to bind privileged ports for vlc or mplayer, but not for XBMC.
I tried to run XBMC directly by using xbmc.bin (authbind --deep /usr/lib/xbmc/xbmc.bin), but that didn't help either.
Is it possible at all to use privileged ports in xbmc for non-root user? When I run XBMC from user root, IPTV works.
