If I start firefox or chromium with the help of executor I don't get any sound (youtube e.g.)

my acer aspire revo is connected to my samsung-tv via HDMI. I do have sound watching movies or playing music in xbmc.

my asoundrc looks like this:

pcm.!default {
type plug
slave {
pcm "hdmi"
}
}

BTW: the system/menu-sound doesn't work either.
