Hello all

Firstly, I know this must have been asked hundreds of times and I have used the search forum to try and find an answer but I have not been able too.

I want films that are part of set to be displayed in order.

For example

The Fast & The Furious
2 Fast 2 Furious

not

2 Fast 2 Furious
The Fast & The Furious

I have read how you can edit the nfo to place the films into a seperate set but I don't want them to be shown as a box set, just together in the order they were released.

I also have this problem with the Harry Potter and Star Trek Movies...

Star Wars is fine because it is all Star Wars Episode xx etc...

Again, sorry for asking a question that must have been asked and answered hundreds of times, I just can't find the answer via search or via wiki.

This is purely speculation, but something you can try is creating an nfo file with the <sorttitle> listed. Maybe something like:

Quote:<movie>
<title>The Fast & The Furious</title>
<sorttitle>Fast & The Furious 1</sorttitle>
</movie>
http://www.themoviedb.org/movie/9799

Then for the other movie:

Quote:<movie>
<title>2 Fast 2 Furious</title>
<sorttitle>Fast & The Furious 2</sorttitle>
</movie>
http://www.themoviedb.org/movie/584

You will need to remove them from the library, and then update inorder to pick up the nfo files. You may just be able to refresh them, but I am not sure. Let us know if this works.

No need to remove them from the library. Just modify the nfos and then refresh the movies.

Thanks for the tips and sorry for the delay in reporting back..

I stumbled across an easy solution. Just use Ember... When you edit the movie you can enter a sorted by name.
