Hello

I have a strange issue. When starting movies (.iso or mp4), the movie will play for 7 seconds then stop. If I look at the minute timer on the top right hand corner, it is not counting up. If I press pause, then play, the timer will start, the movie will continue for a few seconds and stop, but the timer continues.

As an FYI - all movies play on my other systems with the same version of xmbc (10.1).

Specs/setup:

Dell Optiplex 755 with ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro
Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 3GHz
4GB Ram
160gb hard drive

Movies are stored on a NAS
I forgot, Brand new install of Windows 7 pro 64bit
We need to see a debug log. Enable debug logging from System settings, System, Debugging, and restart XBMC then attempt to play a video. Then post the log on pastebin.com.

A quick way to open the debug log is to press Windows-R and in the Run dialog type:

"%appdata%\xbmc\xbmc.log"

(including the quotes). Click OK and the log should open in Notepad. Copy and paste the log into pastebin.com and post the link it gives you here.

Ok, so I moved the pc to the bedroom from my office, and hooked up the sound and presto, issue resolved.
