Hello, seeing the Giada Cube 330/ION on sale for 139$ (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.asp...6856176002), I'm about to buy it. I'd like to buy also a remote to pair it with the Giada from Newegg also. From these choice, is there a remote that you recommend over the other? I it don't need anything fancy, as long as it works!

I plan to use either XBMC Live or Mint KDE 10 with XBMC over it.

Side question : I will buy this RAM, seems ok? http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.asp...6820231155

Thank you!
I have an unmarked version of the Adesso remote that Newegg carries. It works ok, considering I only paid 12 bucks for it shipped from Hong Kong.

I will try something a little more upscale when I get the HD and RAM I ordered for my Cube, so I look forward to some recommendations, as well.

I am thinking towards some sort of remote with keyboard would be nice...
I vote the AVS Gear model as I have it an it works OOB in XBMC Live. As far as RAM, I have Kingston in my Giada Cube.

Uh Oh!! I didn't read this, either. I just bought this one for a Revo 3610 I'm setting up for my brother-in-law. Should I be worried it won't work with XBMC Live?

Help before I open the box. They'll probably take it back if I hurry. Huh

Matt
well, what can i say?
i haven't tried your remote maddog808....

Im not saying all other remotes wont work with linux but
i simply listed which ones i knew for sure,,,
Oh good. I'll go ahead and give it a try, and post my results. What I did like about it was the mouse functions, and small, more discrete IR receiver. Thanks for the reply Eskro. Big Grin
