Reports indicate problems with HD Interlaced content, so if that isn't a concern then this just might be a decent card for your HTPC. Tough to beat $19.99 for this card.

Do note, by the way, that it's actively cooled! Passively cooled should also be perfectly possible, unless you have a very high case temp for some reason (e.g. in a barebone case with bad air flow)
