Hi all,

I had a gen 1 atv, but it recently died. It had a broadcom crystal card in it.

Is there a good mobo with hdmi/component and spdif out that i can plug it into?
Or should i forget the crystal hd and just go for a new htpc?

why not get a the ATV2?

After further looking into it, i'm gonna move my remaining atv1 to my projector for 1080 and just buy an atv2 and put up with 720 on the tv.

Probably just punt my extra broadcom on ebay.

The "old" Mini would be a good alternative use althought I haven't found any recent post how well it works with OSX Lion and where the overall development of the drivers stand.
