- I pick a TV show and I start playing it.
- A few minutes in I press pause and then menu to leave the show.
- Back at my show list I long press menu to get the popup
- In the menu I have Queue, Play from here, Add to Fav, Episode Info, Mark watched, Edit, Remove, Update and Now Playing.
- Playing the show here does not resume
- I can pick Now playing and I am taken to this Now Playing screen
- Here my one show is listed, I long press and get a popup menu
- The menu has Add to fav, move item, remove.

How do I turn enable or add on the ability to resume shows in the middle? This feature is available even in the first generation WDTV. I am on the nightly from August 8th.

Instead of the long press for the menu, just do a short one, it should pop up a small menu that asks to resume or start at the beginning. It has to be a few minutes in though.

Resume doesn't work for me either.

It worked on the xbmc version I user before, but it doesn't on the current.

When you select the file and simply press enter/play/select it will ask you "resume from xx:xx" or "start from the beginning.

It should also show up on the long menu press (contextual menu).

Try updating to the latest nightly.

Open terminal, ssh into the ATV2 and type the following:

1. wget http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/darwin...r-atv2.deb
   
2. dpkg -i xbmc-20110820-046ab03-master-atv2.deb
   
3. rm xbmc-20110820-046ab03-master-atv2.deb
   

Strange, but it doesn't work.

The file always starts to play from the beginning, without this pop up asking from where to start.

I think I read somewhere that it doesn't resume before 5 minutes into the clip

Yes I also read about that, but I have a movie with around 90 min playtime and I stopped around in the middle.
