Just purchased it and jail broke and installed xbmc on it . I am adding my movies to it via SMB. And it's moving at a crawl at this rate it will take 30-60 min to add my movies (65 movies).

Is this normal or is something wrong.. It's currently Downloading movie information for each movie.. Am I doing something wrong..

I don't even want to think about how long it will take to add all my 200 tv episodes..

Backup your database so you don't have to do it again. It's not so bad

It's a known issue/bug that hopefully will not be around for long.

Sounds good to me I hope its resolved soon

Or set up the single database for multiple Machines and never worry about the ATV2 having to update the database again :-)

except that the slow scraping is affecting XBMC on all platforms
