My HTPC has a new Nvidia GT520 video card in it
I install XBMC Live 10.1 and everything installs fine. But upon rebooting after sucessfully installing XBMC Live onto my HTPC, All I am greeted with is a flashing cursor in the top left corner of the screen. And hangs there forever.
From what I can gather, I need to update the video card drivers to the latest Nvidia as the bundled version does not support my card since XBMC live release is very old.
How do I do this? I have the instructions on how to do it from command prompt, but I am unable to gain acess to any command prompt on the HTPC I have installed XBMC live on.
How do I actually get to the command prompt. Do I have to use the installation disc to update the video card driver. Then reinstall XBMC live.
Or can I just download the drivers from NVIDIA site and manually patch them into the XBMC live installation ISO?
