Hi!

Just beend trying to get XBMC Live-TV working. Unfotunately no luck with that.

What I've done so far:
VDR installed and started by init.d
Plugin in XBMC activated

Followed this discription:

Up to now I have not found any packeges for vdr-plugin-vnsiserver. Where could I ged them? I already have a channel.conf made by wscan.

XBMC gives me the error, that no services are found for live tv.

Any help is rlly rlly appreciated!

Edit: Oh, btw... having Kubuntu 11.04 running with a full featured card (Technotrend 3650 CI). Cause of that CI I can't use thheadend (which is awesome imho) because tvheadend doesn't support ci-modules (damn).

There are some problems actually with vdr/vnsi/xvdr.

Goddamnit I am pissed right now (sorry for those hard words). (Yeah, this is a hate-post)
Using LInux for 6 years, programming in several languages and definately an expierienced user - but I am not able to configure mythtv or vdr with a considerable amount of time and without reading through a 500 pages docu... god... so angry right now. Need to kill things. I feel like a bho right now.
TVheadend - no problem... I would LOVE to use this one... but no ci-support right now... god god god
And I haven't found any good how-tos for installing vdr. Does anyone have one at hand? Has anyone running vdr?
