I was having lots of problems with the latest nightlies on Win32 ("latest" = early Sept, 2011, for those reading later). Library scans would hang, XBMC itself would hang when exiting, etc. So I decided to completely uninstall (including removing profile), and re-installing from the build from Aug 17.
All seems well, except that the "Now Playing" indicator seems to be popping up while I watch a TV episodes. That didn't used to happen. :-) Did I miss a setting somewhere? The indicator just comes up - I haven't touched the keyboard, mouse or the remote. Seems to be happening every couple minutes.
