Hi all,

I have set my sisters laptop up with XBMC (Windows 7) and I have connected her to all my media shares on my NAS box fine, the problem I am getting is trying to stream any sort of media via XBMC, it just constantly buffers.

Is a Wireless connection to weak to stream content over?

Thanks.
Would really depend on several factors including whether it's wireless-N (wouldn't consider streaming HD content over G), strength of the signal, quality of the router and client adapter, and the size of the file. I tested a 14Gb 1080p mkv over a 65mbps N connection and only had a couple of buffering incidents during the movie.
There have been reports in this forum that network drivers can also cause this, though I'm afraid I forget the details - I think this was with a RealTek card. It might be worth checking the laptop has the latest network drivers.
