if possible, please recompile with symbols. making the file available is even better though.

recompiling with debug simbol is just a little too hard for me. I will try.

hmm, i can't reproduce a crash.

Same here. Scans and plays just fine. Please upgrade to a more recent build and report back if the issue still exists.

Ok my fault, the flac file I have uploaded is not the right one for testing the segmentation fault

I have recompiled xbmc in debug from git and reproduced the bug with this flac file.
