I am trying to install windows 8 developer beta and wanted to check if anyone has already done this?

Let me know your experience and what worked for you?

is w8 out yet? can 8mce natively bitstreaming dts-hd/turehd? if it is not, i'll stick with 7mce.

Developers preview beta has been released yesterday and it is available for everyone. As per your other question i do not know if it supports all of it right now.

Well from what I have heard and some reading between the lines in the yesterday keynote, everything that was working in Win7 should work in Win8, that is including drivers, programs etc.

So it should just work.

Yup, works great. Only problem seems to be with the new full-screen mode in the Confluence skin on Windows 8 multi-touch systems (like the Samsung slates given out at //build).
