I have

Optiplex 745
nVidia 8400 + latest drivers running on just 1280x1024
Windows XP+SP3
XBMC 10.1


and i cant get CUDA working. Video is rendered by CPU not by GPU.

I have tried:
Check CUDA support on nVidia 8400 - OK
Install CUDA SDK - OK

Dont you know, where is the problem?

I think you want DXVA support, CUDA is something else.

XBMC only supports DXVA2, which is only supported on Vista and Windows 7, you won't get any gpu decoding on windows xp.
