Hi XBMC team,
using XBMC for a while now with VDR and must admit its the best Mediacenter for living room imho. i recently updated my system with yaVDR0.3. Before I had an ubuntu installation with self compiled packages of a pre-Dharma revision (it was from svn pvrtesting2 branch before moving to git). Anyway, just found out - with the new installation - that with the Dharma release the ability recording audio (SHOUTcast) streams was droped. Its unfortunate but I can understand the point behind.
Now my 2 questions:
Is there, or will there be any way to record icecast streams a similar way through the MusikOSD?
I currently help with opening a console and use streamripper but of course this is very unsexy. Is there a way I can use a remote control button programming it to hand over the currently played stream to streamripper ?
I am greatful for any hints ...
