So, I am currently using newest nightly build for atv2 and I love it.
I had about 300 ripped movies and few TV series stored on Synology NAS.

Everything was working fine until yesterday. I turned on my atv2 and navigated to XBMC and I do not see a options for movie or TV. All I see is add-on or files.

I do not want to scrape again....can some one help me please.

30 imaginary bucks that the db is screwed ...

I will go ahead and post the log when I get home, however if DB is the cause of this, how can I fix this?

One quick thing to check would be whether Movies and TV are hidden or not. In System Setting -> Skin -> Home Window check that the Hide - Movies and Hide - TV shows settings aren't enabled.

ssh into the atv2
rm -f /private/var/mobile/Library/Preferences/XBMC/userdata/Database/MyVideos34.db

Restart xbmc and it will recreate it.
