Is it possible that when the screen saver has been activated that XBMC can go to the profile selection screen? Or if after idle for "X" time it goes to profile selection?

Great plan! Is xbmc consuming less watts when (in profile selection) than with another screensaver?
I guess I may have been mis-understood. I am requesting information on making this possible.
I don't think there is any facility in XBMC to do this at the moment. You could submit a feature request on trac.xbmc.org, but note that v11.0 has been feature frozen in preparation for release to you'd have to wait intil v12.0.
