I found following problem / bug under last official version 10.1 :
My XBMC Live setup for audio output is :
ANALOG, 5.1 and output device is DEFAULT.
With this setup goes sound out during movie and music playing from stereo jacks - analog - that's OK.
But if I will edit .asoundrc file in my /home/loginname :
pcm.!default {
type plug
slave {
pcm "hdmi"
}
}
to get sound out from HDMI during navigating in main menu and with same setup of XBMC as before, then :
during navigation in menu sound goes out from HDMI ( it's ok - asoundrc ), during movie playing sound goes out from stereo jacks as analog ( it's ok - XBMC setup ) but during music playing sound goes out from HDMI ( why ? I want also analog as for movies )
I think it's a BUG.
Is there any solution for this error ?
