I have a fresh install of LinuxMint 10, and installed XBMC via the directions here

System is a P4 3ghz, only 512mb ram (more on the way), radeon xpress 200

I see the splash screen, then the home screen very briefly, but it's stretched off the page. After that, the program crashes. The crash report is here

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks;

Gonna reply to myself here; my best guess is it's because the videocard (or lack thereof) is underpowered, though I don't see anything that hints it in normal video playback or in the log file. I've since put a regular monitor on the system and cranked back the resolution and it seems to work when the res gets low enough.

I suppose that I should splurge and put a more up-to date video card in here if i want this to work. Anyone agree that that should solve this? I'm looking to recycle an old PC for a media center and not looking to really invest in hardware.
