Hi guys,

Was just curious...

Binary addons is going to great for XBMC. I was wondering what it means for the work being done on AudioEngine. Will AE become a binary addon, therefore maybe need a rewrite?

Or will AE be a core feature, that other binary addons (like a binary dvdplayer, directshow player, audio player, etc) can connect to?

I don't work on the audio code, but my understanding is that it's going to be a core component.
