Hi all,

I get the following response after an apt-get update and apt-get upgrade

Code:
The following packages have been kept back:
  mobilesubstrate
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 1 not upgraded.

Any idea how to solve this?
My ATV2 runs 4.2.2 and the 30-10 nightly build

I'm sorry, but this has nothing to do with XBMC... No

You might not want to do it (hard to know what the implications are) but "apt-get dist-upgrade" should force the held back packages to get installed.

I think (not sure) that mobilesubstrate is a dependency for XBMC. mobilesubstrate is sort of a jailbreakers standard API/framework for safely hacking/hooking into iOS.

I did just update with the above mentioned command and it seem to work great. When I rebooted the unit I found an update for Nito-TV when entering the atv menu. Unsure whether thats a coincidence or not.
